Q. But you're just kids!
A. That's true, but kids can make a big difference in the world. Why wait to grow up to make an impact? Our generation is inheriting the Earth, and we have a responsibility in making sure we treat it well and take care of it. Besides, many people who have changed the world (and are still changing the world) were/are kids. People like Greta Thunberg have served as inspiration for a new generation of youth activists, and we hope to also join the front in the fight for climate and inspire more people to do the same.
Q. Okay, that's great, but are you even trustworthy? How do I know your information is reliable?
A. We research and write all of our content ourselves, drawing from sources such as NASA, the UN, and NOAA and double-checking all our info. We try to make our info as reliable and up-to-date as possible, but if you find anything wrong or have any questions about our content, we invite you to let us know at hellogenconservation@gmail.com.
Q. How do I know if your info is outdated?
A. We try to keep our info as up-to-date as possible, and you can find out when our pages were last updated by clicking the small info symbol floating on the left side of your screen (after this, click "page details" if you're on mobile)! You can also find out by doing a search and cross-checking our site with other reliable sources!
Q. There are tons of organizations like yours already out there, so what makes you different from all the rest?
A. For one, we're a group of kids, and we hope putting ourselves out there will inspire other kids like us to make change, and will make fighting climate change more accessible to youth. We also aren't afraid to take bold action where we see it is needed. We take great inspiration from all the other movements and organizations out there working for a healthier future!
Q. When I type "generationconservation.org" into the search bar, it sometimes goes to another site. Why is that, and what is the other site?
A. The other site is a temporary site that was created to hold our actual site's place when it wasn't ready yet. To get to our actual site, you have to type in "www.generationconservation.org" instead of "generationconservation.org."
Q. Are your events for all-ages?
A. Yes! Conservation is for everyone, no matter your age!
